Thomas Lynn Disher

I'm Alosie (Louie) J. Disher's son.  My mother Virginia  had received some family information from Yvonne Schomberg. (who really started the project).

(We want to make special thank you's to Evelyn Disher Meadow-Croft for getting a copy of the family portrait to Yvonne.)

I took this information as my starting point and then started contacting relatives at weddings, phone calls, and asking my mother about old photos. I have starting using a family tree program back when it was version 4.0 and now it is up to 8.0.  This information was publish to Family Tree Maker but privatized for us still living. I do have the actual birthdays and marriage dates for any relatives interested after my death.

I have been lucky to get in touch with  Jerry a cousin, who to this date I haven't meet and has a lot more input to the family tree then I had and together I hope you appreciate Jerry time into working on our family heritage.

Jerome (Jerry) Disher, son of Peter Disher and Patronella (Nellie) Trzebiatowski. Born and raised on a farm in the Town of Stockton. Left the farm at age 18 and moved to Milwaukee where I worked at the Allen Bradley Co. for 38 1/2 years. Married Jeanette (Jan) Kleman on September 16, 1961. Retired in 1993 and moved to Henderson, NV. Found that I had a lot of time on my hands and decided to do a little family history for my two children. That evolved into a full blown Family Tree that encompasses not only the Disher family, but all of the following: Trzebiatowski, Bielawski, Olbrantz, Klopotek, Dombrowski, Flisakowski, Kostuchowski, Kleman, Staszak, and Walkowski family's. I now have over 11,000 names in the tree and growing every day.

At the present time a cousin of ours from my Uncle Benedict's side, Francis (Bud) Discher and myself are donating our time and energy on putting this site together.

Bud currently runs three (3) businesses, DIMAN Systems, Internet Kmoraine and what is really amazing is he is still farming. DIMAN is derived from the first two (2) letters of our last name (Disher) and MAN is from the last three (3) letters of Bud's wife Anne's maiden name (Gettleman).

Bud began DIMAN Systems in 1990 under the name of DI-MAN Dairy Software Developments. Bud became involved with computers when he found that most programs written for farm were way to expensive, so he wrote his own program called DairySft. He chose Borland C++ for the programming language of this project, when the time came to market the software he was writing, he began selling and servicing computers. By 1992 Bud had sold several name brand computers and felt it was time for a change. Bud said "I just got Fed up with the quality of pre-fabricated computers, so I began manufacturing my own brand of computer, the DIMAN NoMad".  In April of 1998 he started up his own ISP service for the Campbellsport area, Internet Kmoraine. You can see some of his work by following these links.
