Arrangements are pending at the Dizkoski Funeral Home. Stevens Point Daily Journal Thursday, December 24, 1970 Obituary Leonard Discher Funeral services for Leonard L. Disher, 53, Milwaukee, will be held at noon on Saturday at St. Bronislava's Catholic Church in Plover. Mr. Discher died Tuesday at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he had been a patient for about three weeks. The Rev. Francis Przybylski will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the Dzikoski Funeral Home. A general rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mr. Discher was born Sept. 5, 1917, in the Town of Grant, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Discher. He married Irene Milanowski at St. Bronislava's Church in May, 1940, and they settled in Plover. They later moved to Brillion, where they lived for 11 years, and then to Milwaukee, where Mr. Discher was employed by Crucible Steel Co. Survivors include his wife, Irene; three sons, Robert, Okauchee, and James and Dennis at home; two daughters, Mrs. Tony (Colleen) Marconi, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Patricia Royalty, Milwaukee; six grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. John Discher, Mosinee; two sisters, Sister M. Evelyn Discher, Chicago, and Mrs. Edwin (Bridget) Winkler, Milwaukee, and one brother, Harry, Wisconsin Rapids. His father and one brother preceded him in death.
