Notes for HARRY L. DISHER: Stevens Point Daily Journal Tuesday, February, 22, 1983 Obituary Harry L. Disher Harry L. Disher, 73, Wisconsin Rapids, died Monday afternoon at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, following a brief illness. His mother and a sister live in Stevens Point. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Andrew Karoblis officiating. Burial will be in Calvery Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday morning until time of service at Higgins Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. A parish rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Disher was born April 13, 1909, in Portage County, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Disher. He was married to Clara Wroblewski on Oct. 1, 1932, in Plover. She survives. The couple moved to Wisconsin Rapids where Mr. Disher was self-employed in the road construction industry. He was a member of the Wisconsin Rapids Eagles Club. Survivors besides his wife include his mother, Matilda, Stevens Point; one daughter, Colette Malik, Northport, NY,; two grandsons; two sisters, Sister Evelyn Disher, Stevens Point, and Bridget Winkler, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Marriage Notes for HARRY DISHER and CLARA WROBLEWSKI: Stevens Point Daily Journal Saturday, October 8, 1932 Disher-Wroblewski Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Clara Wroblewski of the town of Plover and Harry Disher of the town of Grant, which was preformed Saturday morning, October1, at St. Bronislava's church at Plover by Rev. S. Lapinski. The attendants were Miss Evelyn Disher and Stanley Disher. The bride wore a gown of ivory satin and a veil and Miss Disher was in orchid. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served in Wisconsin Rapids.
