DISHER: Stevens Point Daily Journal Wednesday, January, 29, 1969 Obituary Mrs. Margaret Vrobel Mrs. Margaret Vrobel, 57, 1117 Franklin St., died Tuesday night at St. Michael's Hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be besides her husband in Guardian Angel Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call at the Dzikoski Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday. The Catholic Woman's Club, of which she was a member, will say the rosary along with the general rosary at 7:30 p.m. Mrs Vrobel was born May 19, 1911 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Disher. She attended Stevens Point schools and was employed by Sentry Insurance in the policy writing department. She transferred to the Weber Tackle Co.'s office department where she was employed at the time of her death. She married Victor Vrobel at St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church on Oct. 16, 1937, and the Vrobels settled at the present address. Her Husband preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1966. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Louise) Hlinak of Fond du Lac; two grandchildren; a brother, Col. Raymond Disher in the U.S. Air Force at Indiatlanic, Fla., and one sister, Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Meadow-Croft of Redwood City, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Stevens Point Daily Journal February 2, 1969 Vrobel Funeral Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Vrobel, 57, 1117 Franklin St., who died Tuesday evening at St. Michael's Hospital, were held Friday morning at St. Stephen's Catholic Church with Rev. Joesph Irvin officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Bradach, Ben Weronke, Ed Koehl, Eugene Glowienka, Ray Disher and Jack Weir Jr. Members of the Catholic Woman's Club and employees of Weber Tackle Co. attended in groups. Friends and relatives attending from Indiatlantic, Fla.; Redwood City, Calif.; Minneapolis, Minn.;Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point.

VROBEL: Stevens Point Daily Journal Thursday, December 8, 1966 Obituary Victor P. Vrobel Victor P. Vrobel, 61, 1117 Franklin St., a former precinct committeeman of the 7th Ward and a past member of the City Board of Appeals, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Hospital. He had been hospitalized for the past two weeks and has been in ill health for two years. A Stevens Point native, he was born here Nov. 21, 1905, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Vrobel. He attended local schools, Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin at Madison, receiving his degree from Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point. During his college years, he was active in football. Following his graduation, he was employed locally as a teacher, and later at the Joerns Furniture Co. For the past 25 years, up until a year ago, he was employed by Sentry Insurance, as a salesman and as a reinsurance technician. He served in the Army in 1942, and was a member of Berens-Scribner Post No. 6, American Legion, and the Elks Club. He was married to Margaret Disher on Oct. 16, 1937, at St. Stanislaus' Catholic Church. The couple lived at the present address since. Besides his wife, Mr. Vrobel is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Louise) Hlinak, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Roman, 1924 W. River Drive, and Raymond, Milwaukee; three sister, Miss Florence Vrobel, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Klish, and Mrs, Ervin (Francis) Dalhaimer, both of Eau Claire; and one grandson. His parents, three sister and one brother preceded him in death. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Friday at the Dzikoski Funeral Home, where the Elks rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. followed by a general rosary at 8. Pallbearers were Roy Weiss, William Cashin, Edward Koehl, Ben Weronke, Frank Hermes, and Henry Bannach. Interment followed in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Marriage Notes for MARGARET DISHER and VICTOR VROBEL: Stevens Point Daily Journal Monday, October 18, 1937 Vrobel-Disher Chrysanthemums, ferns and palms decorated the altar of St. Stanislaus' church Saturday morning, October 16, when Miss Margaret Disher, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Disher, 318 Union St., became the bride of Victor P. Vrobel, son of Mrs. Frances Vrobel, 130 Superior avenue. The ceremony was preformed by Rev. Francis A. Nowak at 8 o'clock. Leading the bridal procession down the aisle was the bridesmaid, Miss Mary Siebert. Next in line was the bride's sister, Miss Evelyn Disher, as maid of honor, who was followed by the bride and her brother, Edmund Disher, who gave her in marriage. The bride was attired in a gown of the traditional ivory satin, fashioned in a Moyen age style. The bodice was gathered along the center front from a long waistline to a high neckline, while the skirt ended in a long train. The long Shakesperian sleeves were slightly puffed. A fingertip length veil of ivory tulle was draped over a hand made wreath of wax orange blossoms with a face veil falling to the elbows. She carried a shower bouquet of Killarney roses and fresh lilies of the valley. Satin was also chosen for the gowns of the attendants, which were made exactly alike in Moyen age style, that of the bridesmaid's being Greenleaf, while the maid of honor wore rust color. The bodice, buttoned down the back, was gathered in the front from the shoulders to the belt. The wide fitted belt line was lower in back to correspond with the hem line of a flared skirt, which was ankle length in front and swept the floor in back. Hats and satin sandals matched the gowns. Miss Disher carried a colonial bouquet of Perinque roses while miss Siebert carried a colonial bouquet of Token roses. The groom was attended by Albert Neuberger, his cousin, as best man, and Raymond Vrobel, his brother, as groomsman. Sister M. Elmira played the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin as a processional and "The March of the Nobles" by Stark, as a recessional. Mrs. Raymond Felker accompanied by her sister, Miss Barbara Van Hecke, sand Schubert's "Ave Maria" and "Jesu Dulols Memoria." St. Stanislaus' choir, of which the bride was a member. sang the nuptial high mass. Raymond Disher, the bride's brother, served at the altar during the mass. John Glowienka and George Jaworski acted ad ushers. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's mother, for 50 relatives and friends. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alois Marx of Milwaukee, Miss Francis Vrobel, the groom's sister, of Minneapolis and Miss Evelyn Disher of Chicago. Following an eastern wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Vrobel will make their home in Stevens Point. Mr. Vrobel is a graduate of the Stevens Point High school and Central States Teachers college. He also attended Marquette university and the University of Wisconsin, where he was a member of Alpha Chi and Alpha Sigma Phi fraternities, respectively. At present he is employed by Jorens Brothers Furniture company. His bride graduated from the local High school, has been a supervisor of the policy writing department of Hardware Mutuals Casualty company. Before the wedding the bride was guest of honor at a shower given by Miss Fern Lutz, Miss Madeline Siebert and Miss Evelyn Skibba. She was presented many gifts.
