Notes for JACOB JERZAK: Notes for JACOB JERZAK: Stevens Point Daily Journal Monday, February 5, 1973 Obituary Jack Jerzak Funeral services were held this morning at St. Stephen's Catholic Church for Jacob (Jack) Jerzak, 51, Route 3, Stevens Point. The Rev. Thomas Mullen officiated. urial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry, Roger, Leonard, and David Rozek, Joseph Weisbrod and Wayne Jablonski. A general rosary was said Sunday night at the Dzikoski Funeral Home. Mr. Jerzak became ill while trapping with his son Dan in Town of Hull Saturday. He was taken by ambulance to St. Michael's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 11 a.m. Mr. Jerzak was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Plover, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Florian Jerzak. He was employed locally until enlisting in the United States Army in 1939. He served as a paratrooper in Alaska and was discharged in 1945. Mr. Jerzak married the former Emily Rozek on Dec. 1, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Polonia. After his marriage, he settled in Stevens Point and was employed as a carpenter for the Soo Line Railroad. He moved to his present home address in the Town of Linwood seven years ago, and he had been employed as a carpenter at St. Michael's Hospital for the past six years. Survivors include his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Florian Jerzak, Town of Dewey; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Sandra) Bonfidt, Antigo, and Susan, at home; two sons, Dan, at home, and Thomas, United States Air Force, Grand Forks, N.D.; two brothers, Sam Jerzak, Newport News, Va. and Ted, Town of Dewey, and two grandchildren. ***** SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION NAME: JACOB JERZAK BIRTH: 06 Dec 1921 DEATH: Feb 1973 LAST RESIDENCE: (not specified) LAST BENEFIT: (none specified)
