Obituary

Johanna A. Kedrowski

Johanna A. Kedrowski, 94, Wisconsin Rapids, died Saturday.

Services will be at 11 a.m Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.

She was born April 10, 1895, in Polonia, a daughter of Barbara and John Singer. She was married to Barney Kedrowski in 1917. He died in 1956.

She resided at 1140 Third St. N., Wisconsin Rapids, with her daughter Virginia Fleischman.

Obituary

Barney M. Kedrowski

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic church, Wisconsin Rapids, for Barney M. Kedrowski, 69, a native of the town of Stockton.

Mr. Kedrowski, who had lived in Wisconsin Rapids since 1934, died Tuesday afternoon at a Wisconsin Rapids hospital. He was admitted last Friday following a heart attack.

He was born in the town of Stockton on April 16, 1886, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kedrowski. His marriage to Johanna Singer took place at Fancher on May 6, 1916.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Edwin, Akron, Ohio, Raymond and Gerald, Wisconsin Rapids, and Bernard, Janesville; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Klevene and Mrs. LaVerne Pette, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Gary Olson, Nekoosa; 10 grandchildren; four brothers, Felix, Stevens Point, and Alex, Peter and Juluis, Stockton; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Schmidt, Milwaukee, Mrs. John Berna, and Mrs. Peter Helminiak, Stevens Point, and Mrs. Peter Zinda, Stockton.

A son, Henry, was killed in Luzon in the Philipines during World War II. Also Preceding him in death were a daughter, who died in infancy, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at the Higgins funeral home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will take place in Calvary cemetery.

Obituary

Funeral of Pvt. Kedrowski

Funeral services for Pvt. Henry J. Kedrowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Kedrowski of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of the town of Stockton, will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The body of Private Kedrowski, who was killed in action on June 15, 1945, on Luzon, in the Philippines, will arrive in Wisconsin Rapids Tuesday morning and will be at the Krohn and Berard funeral home there until the time of services . The rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Charles Gille will officiate and burial will take place in Calvary cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Hagerstrom-Rude post No. 9, American Legion of Wisconsin Rapids.

Private Kedrowski was born on Dec. 18, 1925, in the town of Stockton. He is survived by his parents, four brothers, Ray Kedrowski of Wisconsin Rapids and Edwin, Bernard and Gerald at home, and three sisters, Virginia and Margaret at home and Mrs. Frank Klezen Jr., Wisconsin Rapids
