Obituary

Joseph M. Losiewicz, 88, Jewel Tea Co., Salesman

Joseph M. Losiewicz retired as a Jewel Tea Co. salesman in 1970.

The lifelong Lorain resident was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and had served as a steward at the Polish American Citizens Club, both in Lorain.

Mr. Losiewicz, 88, died yesterday at his home in Lorain.

He had been a league bowler. He also enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Losiewicz's wife Cecelia died in 1987. He lost a son Raymond in 1978, and a daughter, Charlotte Bell, in 1992.

Survivors include his daughter, Priscilla of Michigan, sons, John R. and Joseph M., both of Lorain; 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, 2702 Elyria Ave., Lorain.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Lorain Community/St. Joseph Regional Health Foundation's Hospice Program, 3700 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, Ohio, 44053.

John J. Gluvna Funeral Chapel in Lorain is handling arrangements.
