Jesko FOX LAKE - Regina Jesko, 83, died peacefully at her Fox Lake home on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, following a courageous battle with cancer. Regina was born in Stockton, Wis., on Sept. 10, 1922, the daughter of John and Martha (Ksionsk) Wroblewski. She was married to Ernest Jesko, on Sept. 28, 1940. Regina was owner and operator of Breezy's Bar in Oak Creek. She later moved to Fox Lake in 1970. Regina was an active member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake where she participated in many church projects. She enjoyed playing cards, going to dances at the American Legion, and being with family and friends. Regina lived a happy and blessed life with her husband Ernest, who preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1997; and her three children, Marilyn, deceased on Jan. 16, 2006, (Jim) Slawny; Ernest Jr., deceased on Sept. 1, 2005, (Diana) Jesko; and David Jesko. Besides her son David, Regina is survived by 10 grandchildren' five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She is further survived by four siblings, Florence Maslowski, Barney (Delores) Wroblewski, Evelyn (Wally) Werner, and Harry (Phyllis) Wroblewski. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children; her parents; three brothers, Dan, Edmund and Wally; one sister, Alice Schelewski; and a brother-in-law, Hank Maslowski. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 25, at Annunciation Catholic Parish, 305 W. Green St., Fox Lake, withy Rev. Michael Wild officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. He is survived by his wife Regina of Fox Lake; his three children: Marilyn (James) Slawny of Fox Lake, Ernest (Diana) Jesko of Randolph and David (Linda) Jesko of Fox Lake. 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, other relatives and friends.
